JOB POSITION Office Assistant

LOCATION Coldwater, MI

Specific Job Responsibilities

  • Administer weekly payroll for plant
  • Accounts payable & receivable support
  • Create and maintain various reports and spreadsheets
  • Handle employee H.R. issues for local office
  • Coordinate temporary employees with local staffing company
  • Maintain plant inspection records & OSHA information
  • Order office supplies
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Assist with shipping and receiving
  • Support plant as needed/directed by the Operations Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Genuine upbeat, positive attitude with an ability to work as a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be proactive with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer skills including Word & Excel
  • Prior experience with accounting software a plus
  • Associates degree in related field preferred
  • 3+ years experience in a business environment; Accounting experience highly preferred
