Cam and Pin
Utilized in cabinet and RTA furniture applications, cam and pin fasteners provide fast assembly through the use of hand tools. Pins are screwed into a predrilled hole and then inserted into the mating surface hole where a cam is seated. The cam is rotated with a hand tool until the pin is torqued in place. The head of the cam is visible in this construction method.

WHY COMPOSITE PANEL?
While the natural beauty of solid wood is unmatchable, it’s a unfortunately a pricey option for manufacturers. Fortunately, for many projects, there are less expensive substitutes that perform just as well if not, better than solid wood for a wide range of projects, including furniture, cabinets, shelves, toys, fixtures and more.
Composite wood panels possess a number of unique performance characteristics that set them apart from other materials as well as being a sustainable product. Composite panels are uniform in stability, strength and uniformity making them an ideal substrate for a wide range of applications in both residential and commercial environments.
Wood composite materials are ideal for decorative surfaces because they can be selected based on performance characteristics and physical properties, including strength, flexibility, moisture resistance and fire resistance.
